Description

This recipe for creamy coleslaw has been a family favorite for years! Using bagged cabbage/coleslaw mix from the produce department makes this recipe fast and easy to make. The creamy, tangy, slightly sweet flavor of the dressing and crunchy cabbage and carrot mixture reminds me of the coleslaw you might get at a certain fast-food chain… Make it ahead to enjoy at your next potluck or family BBQ.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Place the bagged, shredded cabbage mix into a medium size bowl. in a small bowl, mix together the onion, salad dressing, oil, vinegar, sugar and salt with a whisk. Pour over the cabbage and stir to combine.

Cover and refrigerate for 12-24 hours. Stir before serving.

Note

*Please make sure to check the label to make sure that all products are gluten free, as labels and ingredient lists can change without warning. At the time of this post, the Kraft Miracle Whip label did not say specifically that it was certified gluten free, but I didn't see any gluten containing ingredients on the label. I have reached out to Kraft for clarification.
